As a child, I imagined an astrologer as a kind of wizard—someone who reads countless books, knows everything, wears a robe the color of the night sky, and is always misplacing their glasses. I wanted to become that slightly absent-minded, all-knowing wizard. So I started reading everything I could get my hands on and eventually acquired two classic attributes of a wizard: shelves full of books and nearsightedness. The robe was a gift from my children. As for knowing everything—that childhood dream remains out of reach. What I have gained, however, is an understanding that knowledge must be applied—otherwise it becomes an overwhelming burden. And I’m not built for heavy lifting. I’m not even a wizard. I’m a witch.
All jokes aside, I’m a practicing astrologer. I offer consultations on a wide range of topics: relationships, business, career direction, choosing the right time for important events, and much more. You can read more about my consultations here.
In addition to consultations, I also teach astrology—both in groups and one-on-one.
My Path to Astrology
I didn’t come to astrology right away, and I had the chance to experience a “different” life—one where I spent a long time in another country, earned a degree in operational management, worked in financial analysis and accounting, built a career in an international consulting firm, and had four wonderful children… though not all of them were born in that “different” life.
In fact, it’s probably not worth dividing life into parts—it’s one life, even though it consists of different stages. But it’s one, whole, unique, exciting life, enriched with experiences and knowledge, like a necklace made up of many beads, pendants, and rings, all coming together to form a complete work of art. In my necklace, astrology is the most precious stone.
I consciously came to astrology in 2007 and stayed for good. Since then, I’ve taken a long journey from modern astrology to classical and traditional astrology, and I now understand that the path of knowledge in astrology is endless. You can never stop on it, because with each new piece of knowledge you gain, new turns appear.
My teachers
I’ve never collected certificates or diplomas, but I’ve been fortunate to learn from astrologers with amazing academic knowledge and experience. Here, I want to list those who have been instrumental in my most important evolutionary leaps:
- Luis Ribeiro (Portugal) – author of the excellent beginner’s textbook “On the Heavenly Spheres”, conducts academic research in the history of science (and, of course, astrology). I was lucky enough to study with him not only in his forecasting course but also to take private lessons.
- Vlada Bernard (Switzerland) – deeply insightful and incredibly erudite astrologer, with whom I studied a series of courses in ancient astrology. Her translation of Claude Dario’s work was for a long time my go-to book, as were the notes from her lectures.
- Dimitar Kozhuharov (Bulgaria) – an astrologer who began his practice in the 1980s, experimental and open-minded. His seminars added many interesting nuances to my knowledge, and they always motivated me to dig deeper and buy another stack of books.
- Petr Petrovsky (Poland) – combines the Jungian approach to astrology with traditional techniques, one of the teachers who helped me feel confident in my practice.
- Denis Steinshof (Israel) – his translations and interpretations of Ibn Ezra’s works are an art form in themselves. But what impressed me most during his seminars was his unique approach to people — wise and compassionate.”
- Oscar Hofman (Netherlands) – author of several books that have become classics of modern world astrology (“Fixed Stars”, “Classical Medical Astrology”). His seminars are almost poetry.
I am deeply grateful to everyone I’ve learned from, who helped turn information into knowledge, generously shared their experience, provided invaluable practical advice, inspired, and instilled confidence in me.
What It Means to Be an Astrologer
I love my work for many reasons, but especially for moments like these:
- When a long-time client writes with a question about a child’s horoscope and immediately sends the birth details of a baby who was born two hours ago. As an astrologer, you’re one of the first to know 🙂
- When you find the best 15 minutes to set a wedding date, but the clients forget to bring the necessary documents. But the right woman at the right registry office at the right time turns a blind eye to this.
- When the first meeting with a client starts with their phrase, “I don’t even know why I’m here—it probably doesn’t work.” And after that, for 12 years in a row, before their birthday, you get an email: “Same as always, please.”
- When a young woman, who has worked as a cashier for 10 years, decides to study 3D modeling, and her relatives strongly discourage her (“so much money for education!” and “what’s the point?!”). But the stars have other plans, and a year later she’s taking successful steps in a new profession, and after three years, she’s leading her own project with a group of colleagues.
- When you choose a date for IVF, and nine months later you start dreaming of little children — but one girl with black curls appears especially often — and then one morning, a happy mother sends you a photo of that very girl from your dreams.
- When a woman asks about the possibility of marriage, you cast her partner’s horoscope and realize that you’ve seen him somewhere before. You find him in your database and remember telling him a couple of years ago: “Don’t give up, you should meet your love in 2020.” And you want to pick up the phone and say to him, “Don’t miss it, it’s her.” But you stay silent because you know they’ll figure it out themselves. Love and miracles love silence.
And I love it when the stars let me get a little closer to these miracles—both the small ones and the big ones.
