Rules for Mars Retrograde: The Peaceful Warrior

These guidelines apply during periods of retrograde Mars. The dates for this year can be found in the planetary retrograde calendar.

Mars represents action, while retrograde Mars is about reversed action — retracing steps, turning inward, or redirecting energy. During this time, we need to remember that the effectiveness of our actions depends on moving in the right direction and maintaining inner harmony.

During Mars Retograde, It’s Best to Avoid…

  • showing aggression, attacking, or provoking conflicts (it will backfire)
  • starting new projects or registering a business (expect obstacles)
  • purchasing machinery or equipment (high risk of breakdowns or accidents)
  • undergoing planned medical surgeries (possible complications during the operation or the need to repeat procedures)
  • focusing on achieving long-term strategic goals (it’s difficult to secure lasting results)

During Mars Retrograde, You Can…

  • rebuild relationships with former partners and rivals
  • work through and forgive old grievances
  • reclaim what is rightfully yours
  • sell or give away old, unused items
  • tidy up and complete long-neglected tasks
  • practice meditation and techniques that strengthen inner focus and personal power

May your actions be effective, and your surroundings harmonious and peaceful!
